If you want to become fully Red Flags compliant, without losing time or focus from your dealership, this is the solution for you.  Here's how we work:

1. We set up a conference call with your dealership’s GM or management team to get some basic information about your dealership, explain the scope of our engagement, discuss the Red Flag Rules, and discuss what is required from your team. Shortly after the call we email a written proposal for the engagement.

2. If you accept the proposal, work begins upon payment of a retainer of 30% of the engagement cost. We charge on a flat fee, project basis and the cost varies depending on the complexity of your dealership.

3. We travel to your dealership and conduct an assessment by meeting with various members of dealership management team and staff, and observing your operations and workflow - electronic, person-to-person, administrative, and physical security.  If you are considering purchasing new software or hardware for Red Flags, we can help with options and vendor selection.

4. When the assessment phase is completed, we create a draft of a written Red Flags Identity Theft Prevention Program for your dealership. We then review the draft with the GM and/or management team, and provide a window for review, change requests and modifications. The balance of the program cost is due upon delivery of this draft.

5. When the review window is complete, we modify the final Red Flags Identity Theft Prevention Program and send an electronic copy via email and a bound/printed copy via FedEx. You will also receive tailored implementation plans, administrative and reporting templates, and detailed Red Flags checklists.

6. We conduct training sessions with your employees, and work with a key staff member so that they will be ready to conduct training for new employees as they join your dealership – “training the trainer”.  This is NOT just training about the Red Flags Rule - it is specific to your dealership and includes everything your employees are expected to do regarding Red Flags.  What to check, what action they should take when a Red Flag arises, what the dealership's policies are about sharing data, etc.  - everything they need to know to protect your dealership and your customers from Identity Theft.

7. We present an Executive Overview presentation to dealership management, including the Board of Directors if appropriate, to ensure everyone understands the Red Flags Rule and the implementation process.

8. We help you "go live" with the Red Flags Rule - to help you ensure that employees are conducting Red Flags checks, that they know what to do if they detect a Red Flag, how to keep the program updated, etc.

9.  Finally, we offer optional follow-up Red Flags training, to be conducted six months after initial Program implementation.  This is a good "reminder" for your team, and ensures that any new employees are trained as well.

Remote Assist

This product is similar to our on-site consulting product but everything happens remotely, through conference calls and internet meetings. It is appropriate for smaller dealerships that want help creating a Red Flags Identity Theft Prevention Program, and are looking for a very cost- and time- effective solution.

Program Review

Does your Red Flags Program need tweaking?

This option is appropriate for auto dealers that already have an Identity Theft Prevention Program but aren't sure if it's effective, and aren't sure what to do next. If you have a vendor template or other document serving as your Program, which has never been referenced and is sitting in a file cabinet somewhere, you are probably not complying with the Red Flags Rule.
